Deepening Impact for the Benefit of Our Collective Future...
Project Phoenix is a Society of Young High-Performers Impacted by Community Trauma and the Carceral System, an invitation-only initiative cultivating the next generation of community-rooted leaders, innovators, and change agents. We uplift youth who have faced adversity (including exposure to systemic inequities, incarceration, or community violence) by transforming those experiences into sources of power, creativity, and leadership.
Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and participation is by invitation or nomination from community members, mentors, family, or partner organizations. Our community prioritizes individuals demonstrating strong initiative, self-awareness, and a desire to lead both personal and collective transformation.
Resources, mentorship, and investment are provided commensurate to each participant’s engagement, effort, and contribution toward their own development and shared projects. Support may include access to technology, transportation, funding, and holistic wellness resources.
The inaugural Project Phoenix cohort members received tangible investments including a large SUV for community operations, two MacBook Pro laptops distributed, full inventory purchases for emerging ventures, stipends up to and exceeding $2,000, and complimentary monthly SEPTA passes.
These investments demonstrate our commitment to equipping participants with the tools necessary for success!
Together, we build upon the foundation of healing, growth, and skill-building to create a powerful ecosystem where young high-performers can thrive, collaborate, and reimagine what’s possible for themselves and their communities.
